Rules
At World Championship Series, we promote clean racing and good mentality from our drivers both on and off the race track, here are the Rules we enforce to create the friendliest and fairest environment possible:
ALL DRIVERS ARE REQUESTED TO RECORD ALL OF THEIR RACES AS IT AIDS WITH STEWARDS DECISIONS, DRIVERS MAY BE PUNISHED FOR FAILING TO PROVIDE FOOTAGE OF CERTAIN INCIDENTS.
1. Track behavior

1.1: Pure racing

1.1.1: All drivers must drive respectfully towards each other on the track and do their utmost to avoid hitting each other while remaining on the track
within the limits.

1.1.2: If there is a hit between the drivers, the penalties will determine the seriousness of the incident and punish them (see Penalties for more
information). However, intentional crashes result in severe penalties, most likely removal from the league.

1.1.3: If you believe you are at fault in a crash with another driver, you must return the position or at least
as soon as possible during the race. Failure to do so may result in punishment. (Or an increase in the severity of the sentence if cases apply).

1.2: Overtaking and Defending

1.2.1: When passing another driver, make sure your car leaves enough space for the other driver to avoid being hit in the situation.

1.2.2: If you are next to (or above) another in the braking zone, they must leave you enough space to try to overtake. If you are too far away
from behind, the defending driver has no obligation to give you room to overtake, so any contact will result in a penalty.

1.2.3: The passing driver must not force the defending driver off the track in order to overtake. This also leads punishment.

1.3: Track restrictions

1.3.1: Drivers must keep at least two tires inside the white line on each side of the track, not on the curbs as they are not kept within the track limits.

1.3.2: A strict corner cutting rule is used to penalize drivers in qualifying; the game should invalidate your lap and give a warning during the race;
Every third (3) warning will result in a 3 second penalty that will be added to your race time.

1.3.3: If you pass the driver when all 4 wheels are off the track, you must slow down and let the driver you pass take the place
back, the game should give you a penalty if you do not give the position back.

1.4: Qualifying rules

1.4.1: It is the responsibility of each driver to find a space on the track where the other driver will not obstruct their fast lap.

1.4.2: If you are not on a flying lap, you must drive off the driving line so that the drivers on the lap can pass you. Failure to do so will result in punishment.

1.4.3: If you are on a time lap, you are not obligated to allow other drivers to be overtaken, even if they are faster than you are. Note, however, that if they try to bypass you, you must respect normal competition rules and give them room to bypass.

1.4.4: Drivers must not crash the car intentionally during a qualifying. This is because it allows you to start a race with new tires, even if your fastest time would place you in the Top 10.

1.4.5: If you accidentally crash and still make it to the Top 10 of the qualifying, you have to start the race with a different set of tires with
which you set the best lap.

1.4.6: Drivers must not drive on rain or intermediate tires if the track is clearly dry. The lap time delta in the pits helps to understand which tires are best for the conditions.

1.5: Rules of the race

1.5.1: Drivers are instructed to complete a warm-up lap. Intentional crashing during the warm-up lap can lead to the driver
punishment because it can affect the condition of the tires compared to others who perform a warm-up lap.

1.5.2: Drivers must be careful when entering the first corners of the race. Avoid constant contact. Front row drivers need to brake
much earlier towards the first corner, because turn 1 is naturally slower and the combination has a large number of drivers.

1.5.3: Drivers must remain inside the white lines at the entrance and exit of the pits and must also decelerate to the required speed limit and
activate the limiter BEFORE the white line. Failure to do so will result in a penalty in the game.

1.5.4: Sections 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 must be observed throughout the race.

1.5.5: We recommend that drivers do not intentionally disconnect during the race unless absolutely necessary, and in cases where disturb other drivers, will be punished normally.

1.5.6: If you intentionally continue to violate the brake signs several times, you will receive a penalty point afterwards. In official sessions, it is illegal and leads to punishment. Go to section 1.8 to read more about official sessions.

1.5.7: We recommend that drivers continue their driving during the race, even if you have fallen down and want to give up, because leaving your car
on the track can lead to an unnecessary safety car situation. We want the safety car to come out when it is really required, NOT when the driver
has just given up. The only way to leave the session is if you feel there is a danger to other drivers due to connection problems.

1.6: Safety Car / VSC Game Rules

1.6.1: When VSC is enabled, all drivers must remain within the Delta time allowed by the game until the green flag is waved to indicate
The end of the VSC period. If you are faster than the delta when the green flag is waved, the game will give you a penalty.

1.6.2: Behind a safety car, drivers must keep a safe distance from the driver in front to avoid crashes. Drivers are not allowed At any point while
the safety car is next to or in front of the driver, drivers must not brake abruptly during the safety car. all the braking must be gradual in order
to avoid contacts and chain reactions affecting all the occupants behind the braking driver.

1.6.3: If you drive the race when the safety car returns to the pits, you control the pace of the track before the green flag, but the leading driver
should keep a speed of at least 80 km / h, except in curves where a lower speed is required. This avoids collisions. Failure to do so
may result in a post-race penalty.

1.7: Absence

1.7.1: If you do not enter the competition, you must inform one of our administrators (ParkkiSakkoYT, FEARLYY, ER_Hopeaneula) why you have to be
Absent. Absence from the competition because you do not want to compete or do not like the track are not valid reasons and are considered a conscious
absence. Unreported absences (especially from the end of the season) result in penalties. Read more in section 4.1.2.

1.7.2: Accumulated absences for the rest of the season will result in penalties. If you have been away too much earlier in the season and you get more
absences for the rest of the season, you may get a penalty. However, if you have a valid reason to be absent and you can prove it (Article 1.7.4), it is ok and you can be out of competition.

1.7.3: You must report your absence yourself, you cannot ask others to report your absence on your behalf. Doing so leads to conscious absence and will be penalized.

1.7.4: If you declare your absence from the competition for any reason, you may be asked for pictorial proof of your whereabouts. If from you
if you are asked for a picture of your whereabouts, you must provide ParkkiSakkoYT with a picture of where you are WHEN the race starts. There is no
need to show in the picture any people. It's enough to see where you are. Pictorial evidence is asked of anyone at random.

1.7.5: If, for any reason, you are unable to prove your whereabouts to the administrators, you may be penalized. The same goes for lying absences.

1.8: Official sessions

A session is considered official if the lobby is hosted by one of the administrators AND the session is scheduled. In official sessions, all the rules
of the league are in effect. The official sessions of the WCS are:

Possible scheduled practice sessions by the administrators.
A short qualifying in the league lobby.
50% race in the league lobby.

2: Group discussion

2.1: Group discussions are intended to be a friendly environment for drivers where league announcements and competition discussions take place.
Stewards may award penalty points to drivers who ruin discussions, post irrelevant material or promote other leagues.

2.2: Drivers must be polite and friendly to each other. Bullying is not allowed in conversations. The stewards will punish them, which become trapped
depending on the severity of the event.

2.3: If there are dangerous situations in the race, drivers must discuss all issues in a private message to the participating driver or to a steward member, which prevents the chat from being overloaded with messages that are irrelevant to other participants.

2.4: All decisions of the stewards will be discussed and examined outside separate discussion activities. The results of the decisions will be published
However, in the main chats. If there is a disagreement on the decisions of the stewards, you must communicate the matter to the members of the stewards in a private message.

3: Penalties

3.1: In-Game Penalties

· Corner cutting: (3 second penalty per 3 warnings, possible additional penalties for major corrections)

3.2: Stewards

3.2.1: If a driver has situations that they want the stewards to take into account after the race, they have to send their videos to the WCS series
to the discord "video reports" channel by Tuesday at 5:00pm BST time. This allows members of the stewards to investigate situation and decide
on the necessary penalties before the next race. Links provided after this deadline may not be considered.

3.2.2: ParkkiSakkoYT or any other member of the stewards communicates the parties to the case with a message (if necessary) and from then on the driver
have 24 hours to deliver your view of the event. If any of the drivers involved in the events are unable to present their views on the event
without a valid reason, the decision-makers of the stewards shall impose a penalty in accordance with the provisions of the POV to ensure that
all drivers describe their competition and case for video.

3.2.3: As mentioned in Rules 2.3 and 2.4, all drivers must communicate events with all members of the stewards in private.

4. Stewards Penalties

4.1: Post-race Penalties

4.1.1: The stewards will award penalty points and immediate penalties after the competition after examining the cases sent to them (Please note that
direct penalties may be imposed ONLY for situations on the track, possibly alongside PENALTIES, for bad off-track behavior must be dealt with
separately) (PENALTY POINT SYSTEM and intentional absences are dealt with separately). Their penalties will be announced in the main chats before the next race.

4.1.2: Penalty may be imposed on drivers who do not register for the race and have not explained why they do not take part in at least 30
minutes before the start of the scheduled qualifying. If you are late for the qualifying but make it to the race, this must also be reported to the
administrators no later than 30 minutes before the start of the qualifying, in which case you will not be given a notice. Joining during the
competition is counted as conscious absence because you can’t compete.

4.1.3: These direct penalties vary according to the seriousness of the event and the driver will be subjected to an appropriate penalty, the stewards
will take into account the severity of the event; the time lost by all drivers involved, the situation in the race and whether there was intent behind the situation.
Penalties can be one of the following:

· Time penalty (added to the penalty time of the penalized driver, the length varies according to the above factors and can be applied to the
race, where the event took place, but if the penalized driver retires from the race, the penalty will be carried over to the next race.)
· Grid drop penalty (You will have to suffer a 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 place grid penalty depending on the situation)
· Qualifying ban (you cannot participate in the next qualifying you participate in). A qualifying ban can be suffered either immediately or at

· Multiple race bans (you cannot participate in the following races on the calendar - the number of races depends on the severity of the
event)

the severity of the incident. Stewards may award as many penalty points as they wish. Penalty points may be awarded for obstructing a qualifying, for defending illegally, for causing a minor / significant collision, which could have been avoided, intentionally crashing yourself or others, verbally insulting in conversations, arguing with administrators, dangerous driving and spam / unmarked content in discussions. The stewards will inform you that you have been given penalty points in addition to the offense you committed. The stewards look after the drivers' penalty scores during the season.
